I enjoyed creating my wiki. I found it pretty easy to create. I think it is a great tool for teachers who want to actively engage their students. I really like the fact that the students can contribute to one main page, as well as keep their own indvidual page. I think it can be a very effective teaching and very good for encouraging teamwork. I also think it is also a tool that is exciting for the students because it is in a format (as it is a kind of website) that most kids today are famaliar with.
being that i teach special ed 3-5 year olds, i would not be able to implement this in my class, however I recognize the effectiveness of a wiki. i specifically think it would be good for helping students along with a research or major project, by posting requirements, links, ideas etc that the students could contribute to as well.
